A Warm Welcome to You!!!
UUCLV has been an oasis of liberal religion and the only Unitarian Universalist congregation in the Las Vegas valley for more than 50 years.

You will find many different beliefs within one congregation and all are respected.

This congregation is guided by and promotes the Seven Unitarian Universalist Principles:

Justice, equity and compassion in human relations.
Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth.
A free and responsible search for truth and meaning.
The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process.
The goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all.
Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.

Sunday Services and Children's Programs begin at 10:30 a.m. and are immediately followed by coffee/social hour.
Competent nursery care is provided for preschoolers and toddlers.
The building is wheelchair accessible and assisted listening devices are available.
UUCLV is officially recognized as a UUA (Unitarian Universalist Association) "Welcoming Congregation." We welcome and celebrate the presence and participation of bisexual, gay, lesbian and/or transgender people.
If you're searching for a more personal or intimate UUCLV experience, please check out our Opportunities for Adults. We are a very active congregation with many programs and activities available for all.

Topics and themes for upcoming sermons are provided here. UUCLV is fortunate to have the Rev. Jane Bramadat as our consulting minister. Her sermons are both well delivered and pertinent to the needs of our congregation. Our energetic choir enriches our services and encourages new members to join their group.

Each week, the service/sermon will be posted on Words from the Pulpit.
Month of Sundays
The 50/50 Sundays in November will be the 14th and the 28th. The recipient of the 50/50 Sunday donations in November on the 14th and 28th will be the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada. The Center is located at 953 E. Sahara. It provides a welcoming place for a variety of groups but especially LGBT groups of any age. Gamblers anonymous also meet at the Center. This is a non-profit that depends on donations to survive. The need for our help is particularly evident in the present environment.

Today 'Advent' begins. This has to do with the Christian Christmas season and everything including the First Coming and the Second Coming. It's about waiting. What are UUs waiting for? If we're not waiting, what have we found...and do we share it?
