This past Saturday Cobra Kai instructors taught a jiu-jitsu class at YMCA for the Jump for Joy Foundation. Jump for Joy is a non profit organization that promotes fitness and healthy living to combat childhood obesity. The kids started off with some games to warm up and work on their balance and looked at several self defense moves. Thanks a lot to Martha Hernandez, Jonah Pascua and Rodrigo Gutierrez for helping out.
UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz and WEC champion Ben Henderson stopped by the gym this morning to train a little bit with the guys from Cobra Kai.
Joe Stevenson, Greg Jackson and Clay Guida also dropped by to do a little drilling.
We wish Dominick and Ben good luck in their upcoming title defenses on Dec. 16. Dominick will be taking on Scott Jorgensen and Ben will be going against Anthony “Showtime” Pettis
