Receive professional training in the latest styles and techniiques in hair cutting and styling, skin care, nail care, and makeup. From a foundation of theoretical knowledge, you will practive and perfect your techniques and learn professional business building skills.
The Cosmetology curriculum is designed to prepare students for the State of Nevada Licensing examination and for gainful employment. A student will learn the technical, personal and business skills to prepare you for work in a professional salon as a cosmetologist, retail sales specialist, salon manager or owner.
Managing Nail Esthetics
Learn the latest in manicures, pedicures, spa manicures, spa pedicure, and nail extensions, all using the state of the art technology. Beyond nails, you'll learn business-building technigues, business communications, and dramatically expand your retail knowledge.
Learn techniques in Manicuring, pedicuring, nail extensions/wraps, and all in a state of the art facility.

Educate yourself in facial techniques, waxing, makeup, health, and nutrition. Students learn the theoretical technical skills and business building techniques necessary to promote success in the spa industry.
The Esthiology curriculum is designed to prepare students for the Nevada State Licensing examination for estheticians and for gainful employment. A student will learn specialized techniques to purify, balance and renew the skin and study international trends in makeup. Job opportunities are available in the salon, medical and retail industries.

Client Service Areas
A diverse array of clients come to the Aveda Institute for beauty and wellness services. As a student, you will have the opportunity to perform a spectrum of hair, skin and nail services in a virtual salon setting, under the supervision of your instructors.

Classrooms of all sizes have been designed to provide the proper environment for different types of learning and activities.
Resource Library and Administrative Offices
A resource library has books on styling, motivation, health and wellness for your reference. Team leaders and admissions personnel are also available to respond to your questions and concerns.
Aveda Environmental Lifestyle Store
A retail center for Aveda hair, skin, flower and plant Pure-Fume and body care, makeup and lifestyle products. The store gives you the opportunity to practice your client service and retailing skills.
