The building that the chapel is in was built by Dell Webb (Howard Hughes builder) in 1954 for the mob. It was used as a night club that was frequented by such celebrities as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Marilyn Monroe, Joe Lewis, Louis Armstrong, Count Basie and Nat King Cole. Many of the famous stars that appeared on the strip came to this club to hang out with the mob.
It was converted into a chapel in 2000 and has seen thousands of happy couples married here ever since. The chapel has been featured on the Travel Channel several times, Entertainment Tonight, on networks in Germany, England, Spain and Australia. It's been seen in Playboy and People magazines.
