I have been fascinated by glass since I was a child, by the infinite options of hot glass, by the colored light it creates, by its strength and its fragility. I began working with leaded glass and progressed to etched and fused glass. Many of my pieces reflect geographic forms. I am always struck by the innate balance and harmony found in nature and since my earliest airplane flights, those forms have found their way into my art. Recently I have been creating jewelry, combining fused glass and lamp worked beads with precious metal wire to create one of a kind wearable art.
