It's not too late!
Our Senior and Junior classes participated in the "TXT L8R Cone Course Event" put on by News Channels 8 & 11. In this event, students drove through an obstacle course consisting of many 180 degree turns and coned lane changes. The students first drove the course normally without any distractions to get a feel for it. The second time through the course, students had to drive while texting, being distracted by other people in the car, and taking phone calls. Many students also tested out a simulator car, which proved to have dangerous consequences while texting and driving. After experiencing the real life driving course, and the simulator, many of our Seniors and Juniors pledged to "TXT L8R."
