Our services encourage team participation for the evaluation of alternatives involving such crucial questions as initial cost, operating and maintenance costs, reliability, convenience, comfort, and adaptability for future expansion or change. This approach to planning, evaluation, and design, along with architect, engineer, and owner involvement, means that correct decisions are made from the best alternatives.

The firm is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, the Nation's foremost coalition of leaders from across the building industry working to promote buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable, and healthy places to live and work. A number of the staff are LEED Accredited Professionals certified by the U.S. Green Building Council.

The firm focuses many years of construction management experience on the construction phase of a project. This helps insure that the finished project more closely meets the design intent. Furthermore, we follow through with the fine tuning of mechanical equipment, and frequently assist the contractor and owner in the operation and maintenance of the systems. We believe this follow-through service is essential for assuring that the owner gets the building for which he has contracted thus protecting his financial investment.

Petty & Associates has prepared many Technical Energy Audits for grants offered through the State of Nevada Institutional Conservation Program Federal Energy Grants, and worked with utility companies and owners on various building energy analyses. Many of our projects have received energy awards. The firm has also received awards from organizations such as the American Institute of Architects and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers.
