According to Associated Massage and Bodywork Professionals there are over 250 different types of massage techniques offered in the United States today and those numbers just keep growing. The names range from the obvious such as "deep tissue massage" to the less than obvious "neuro-muscular therapy".
It can all be confusing for you, the consumer. After all you just want... what? Well you usually want one or more of these four things from your massage session:

And you want your Massage Therapist to be well-trained, experienced and knowledgeable. At Ralston Massage Center our therapists will use a variety of techniques and skills available to them from their years of training and practice tailoring your massage sessions to provide just what you need. The names of techniques are not as important as what you feel at the end of the session--relief and rejuvenation.
