A 30 Year Story of Family and Friendship
Two young law clerks met for the first time when they were hired to work for Judge Roger D. Foley in 1975. Chris Kaempfer and Pete Bernhard started their long and distinguished legal careers alternating between acting as a bailiff during court hearings and researching case law for Judge Foley. They talked often about the cases they were assigned and the research they were doing; but they truly bonded over their shared passion for baseball and in fact would end up playing softball together for more than 15 years.While both Chris and Pete would go on to work for different law firms, the two would remain the best of friends.Now, almost 35 years later, Chris and Pete are working together again - this time at Kaempfer Crowell.
