Specializing in Pediatric Speech-Language and Occupational Therapy!
SSLG is looking for a motivated speech-language
pathologist to work in a multidisciplinary pediatric
setting in Reno, NV. CFY position will be considered!

Children communicate within their environments by understanding the words of others, sharing their needs and desires, speaking clearly, participating in play, and following social rules. Our approach is to use the power of naturalistic/play tasks to increase each child's communicative competence.

A child's occuaption includes playing, learning, and performing daily living tasks, like eating and dressing. We believe in using play and movement in sensory-rich environments to facilitate a child's success in these areas in a fun and enjoyable way.

The Sierra Speech and Language Group (SSLG) is a team of speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists committed to improving children's speech and language and life/adaptive skills. We are proud to provide speech pathology and occupational therapy services for children in Reno, Sparks, Carson City, Lake Tahoe, Fernley, Gardnerville, and the Northern Nevada area.

For children to communicate and participate

**SSLG bills most insurances including Medicaid**

is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She has completed training in the Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing (LiPS) Program for Reading, Spelling, and Speech, and serves on the Autism Coalition of NV (ACON) Taskforce Finance Subcommittee.
