Howdy, friends! The name's Lenny Lizard and I'm here to give you the best travel tip for all you RV vacationers who enjoy the "Biggest Little City in the World" charm of Reno, Nevada! Out of all the Reno RV Parks and Reno Campgrounds I personally bet on Bonanza Terrace RV Park!

Y'know, I'm a bit of a "casino lounge lizard" around here, but I won't gamble on one thing...having a great place to come home to when I've cashed out for the evening. For me Bonanza Terrace RV Park is the only game in town when it comes to a great place to park my rig. I'm kind of a "permanent guest" at the park and, let me tell you, I couldn't ask for better friends and neighbors than I get with the owners, staff and guests at Bonanza Terrace!
Conveniently located just two miles north of downtown Reno, Nevada off Highway 395, Bonanza Terrace RV Park offers a quiet location with easy access to the best the greater Reno area has to offer. I appreciate the lovely view of the surrounding hills that I used to call home. What's more, the RV park offers a newly remodeled office and plenty of shade from the Nevada sun - certainly nicer than seeking shelter under a rock. My little camper is no "big rig," but even if it were, getting to my RV site is no problem. Sliding in is smoother than new cards on a green felt table thanks to the wide, paved roads and large, gravel sites.

Having lived in the dusty Nevada hills around the park, it's a welcome change to relax at Bonanza Terrace, where they keep their facilities spotless. My pet, a spunky cricket called Hopalong, and yours are welcome at the park, as long as they are accompanied by their owner, a leash and scoop (remember folks, it's a doody).
Bonanza Terrace RV Park is just across from Bonanza Casino, which offers table games like blackjack and craps, plus hundreds of slot machines, keno, video poker and race & sports booking. When you're ready to have a bite, there is a cafe and bar & grill. The arcade will keep the "hatchlings" entertained and you can pick up everything from snacks to souvenirs at the gift shop!
Each summer, Reno hosts Hot August Nights, the Air Races and the Hot Air Balloon Races. During Reno Hot August Nights, vintage cars are on display along with entertainment and music. Pilots with their aircraft compete for honors during the Reno Air Races which is the most popular air race event in the country. Many colorful balloons rise into the clear Nevada sky within a half mile of Bonanza Terrace RV Park during the Reno Hot Air Balloon Races.
