Illegal eavesdropping in Chicago and how the law gets around the law ???
In Chicago,if the law or people of political influence want to “get over” on the public, they aren’t stupid enough to eavesdropp themselves, they let criminal types or local tv or the local media do it. You might say why or for what purpose. I will only give a few samples of the why possibilities.Think of if your rich or in a position of official leadership how beneficial it is to your career to be able to violate the laws illegally eavesdropping on your political foe or your business competitors. Think of your financial gain as a business owner being able to listen in to your competitors’ proposals on million dollar deals, think of how brillant you can look as a TV producer with a never ending pool of ideas because you can eavesdropp on your neighbors. Find out what your next door neighbors really think of you. My civil rights have been violated for 10 yrs. by this type of corruption.Share the wealth, get a baby monitor and/or police scanner.I urge NE1 in Chicago to “Do unto others”….
Well the Patriot Act circumvents the whole thing anyway.
But eavesdropping, government surveillance, freedom of the press and corporate espionage are very distinctive in the law books.
