All classes require preregistration and prepayment (except the hanging basket class since cost will vary), so we can ensure we have enough materials for everyone.

Wormy, Worms-April 24th @ 10AM- make your very own under the sink worm bin, find out about how they work, see how they work, and learn the benefits to vermiculture. $5

Get fit with food-May 15th @10Am-Brenda Fisher from Yogaerobics will be talking about Healthy eating from your yard, and how to incorportate it into your daily lifestyle. Take home your choice of a Plant It grown vegetable to help start off your healthy lifestyle. $6

Flower Arranging-May 22nd @10AM-Sandy from Country Caurosel will come out to show you how to arrange beautiful flower pieces from your yard. You need to bring a vase or dish appoxiamately 4” tall by 6” wide, everything else will be provided. Take home a wonderful piece to place on your dinner table TONIGHT-how fun. $10

Pond Care-May 29th @ ?-bring your toughest questions, Mark from Pondcare will be out to help you achieve the pond of your dreams. Water is so soothing but when it is a constant pain in your neck it isn’t so relaxing. $10 and will include, Pond Care food samples, Pond Care Pond layout guide, and more!

Gardening with friends-June 19th @ 10:30AM-learn how using plants in conjunction with one another can: increase your yield, and decrease your pests, disease, and fertilizer use. Take home your choice of one six pack of tried and true garden companions $5

Executive Chef / GM Christoph Waldburger will be coming out in August to grill up some delicious goodies from our garden. $TBD

Spring has Sprung-September 18th @ 2PM-make sure your yard is chock full of beautiful Spring happiness. My favorite thing is when all the little bulbs start poking their heads up. Learn the plants to add to your yard to enhance Spring and how to plant and take care of your bulbs. Take home a variety of Heather’s favorite bulbs to add to your garden- $8

Tomicina from Two Guys from Italy will be coming out in September to share some of her recipes using a wide array of spices from the garden. $TBD

Don’t miss our Go Green Fall Fest October –get your Cinderella pumpkins (and various others), cornstalks, make mini scarecrows, come visit FFA’s petting zoo, attend various “green” classes—more information to follow.
