Based in Reno, Nevada; Western Bariatric Institute is one of the most comprehensive bariatric centers in the country.
The bariatric program began in 2000 as a division of Western Surgical Group, the largest surgical practice in Northern Nevada.
With strong collaboration with three major medical centers, our surgeons and programs offer the advantages of multi-disciplinary care and consultations.
Multiple ongoing research projects in conjunction with collaborating physicians help us learn more about obesity, its causes and treatments.
Our physicians are all experienced Board Certified surgeons, are Fellows with the American College of Surgeons, and have been accredited as "Center of Excellence" physicians through the American Society for Bariatric Surgery.
