Wellington Station Resort is a quiet, beautiful 55+ MHP/RV Park community on the West Walker River in Smith Valley.   We offer daily, weekly and monthly rates.  Daily and weekly rates include electric and when you stay for a week, we give you 2 free nights.  For monthly stays, we are an adult park, so most people are in their late 40s, on up to their 70s- some couples and some singles.  Children are more than welcome but not for a permanent stay.  We have lots of dogs and cats- our policy is one pet to a trailer but if you have 2 small dogs, we don't have a problem with that.  We have a small laundry next to the bathrooms- with one washer and one dryer- both $1.00 per load.  Every space but one is right on the banks of the West Walker River.  We have great fishing and hunting in Smith Valley.

Electric for your RV depends on how much you use- we have a master meter here for the RV spaces and we pass through the cost of the electric for each space.  Monthly electric ranges from $30 t0 $150- just depends on how you use it.  Bi-State Propane can put in a tank and fill it on demand or on a regular basis- right now they charge us $2.85/gal.

We don't have cable TV yet in Smith Valley, but we do get satellite reception and I've found AT&T to be the best cellular service to have.  Smith Valley Internet can install high-speed internet which works really well.

We have 2 small mini-marts in the valley- one about a minute away by the Mexican restaurant and the other, Buckboard General Store, about 10 minutes away.  Buckboard also has a gas station, and propane for sale.  We have a great library, 3 hair salons, two garages, two post offices, and a doctor and a dentist in the valley.  Walmart, Costco and Trader Joe's are about 45 minutes from us, and there are 3 large grocery stores (Smith's, Scolari and Raley's) in Gardnerville, plus a Rite Aid and Walgreens.  We are 30 minutes from Yerington, which also has a Scolari's and Ace Hardware.

Our RV spaces are 30' wide and 55' long, $315 a month (which includes sewer, water and trash), and we allow you to put a shed and a deck on your space, as long as it's tidy and nice looking.  We encourage our tenants to garden and plant their spaces. Our mobile home spaces are 48' wide by 85' long and are $375/month and rent includes sewer, water and trash.
