Fuqua a "Better Built Stick Home"
Affordability, quality control, better insulation and energy savings for starters. Our Energy Star® homes have R-40 roof, R-21 walls, and R-33 floor insulations for energy conservation and your comfort. We build our homes with 2x6 walls on 16" centers, truss roofs, with ½ sheetrock tape and textured throughout in a climate-controlled environment eliminating the unpredictability and destructiveness of weather and the uncertainties of local labor availability. With a consistent labor pool, climate controlled building environment, huge material purchasing power and a WHOLE HOUSE builders warranty for not only the building but also the installed components, the "Better Stick Built Home" from Fuqua saves time and money and insures a more consistent product. With our choices in floor coverings, counter tops, cabinets, lighting, appliances, exterior siding, roof pitch, and roofing material, we can customize the home to fit your lifestyle and the individual requirements of your site. Our homes can be constructed to local building codes (modular) or Federal HUD Standards (manufactured).
Doupnik Manufacturing, Inc. "The solution to your commercial modular needs"
Our modular buildings are actually better than conventional buildings, because they can be relocated, cost less, are built in a climate-controlled environment, are energy efficient, have consistent high quality, and offer immediate space.
While some manufacturers use steel framing for their buildings, we prefer the strength and quality we get with wood. Over the years, we've found that wood reduces the bounce in floors, eliminates leaks where wood joins with metal columns, allows for snow load construction, is much easier for customers to remodel, and is more energy efficient, per PG&E testing.
All through the construction process, careful attention is paid to strict building code compliance. We have third-party inspectors on-site, and undergo frequent inspections by government agencies. (Buildings are also inspected during the delivery and setup phase.) By the time you're ready to occupy your new modular building; every detail has been thought of and checked numerous times.
Our in-house design team has created lots of great floor plans over the years. (Some of them are so good that our competition has "borrowed" the designs -- a sincere form of flattery!) Frequently, we find that our buildings look so good and blend in so well that people can't tell they weren't site-constructed.
Occasionally, customers will be afraid that modular construction won't work for their particular needs. They're always pleasantly surprised when we show them how modular construction can work -- and work beautifully -- in any application. Here are just a few examples of the almost limitless uses for modular buildings:
