At EXTREMICURE Hand Center caring for hands is our focus. Patients from around the Las Vegas metropolitan area rely upon the expertise and experience of our medical staff. EXTREMICURE® Hand Center was founded by Nitin J. Engineer, MD, FACS. Our practice is dedicated to providing the most compassionate and caring environment possible, while also providing state of the art skills in minimally invasive procedures. We are a specialty hand practice and pride ourselves on taking the time to listen to our patients needs so that we may tailor their treatment plan to provide them with the best possible outcome. EXTREMICURE® Hand Center currently offers an extensive range of state of the art minimally invasive, advanced procedures for the management of conditions affecting the hand, wrist, and upper extremity. In addition, we are continually researching and investigating new avenues for the treatment of hand disorders as they are made available. Dr. Engineer is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Surery and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He completed his Doctorate of Medicine at Vanderbilt University in 2000. He then completed a fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery with the Division of Plastic Surgery at Southern Illinois University. His particular surgical expertise and interests are minimally invasive hand surgery, including Endoscopic Carpal Tunnel Release (ECTR), Endoscopic Trigger Release (ETR), endoscopic peripheral neuropathy decompression, arthritis, joint reconstruction, and traumatic hand injuries. He is board certified in both General Surgery and Hand Surgery.
