Our engineering services are facilitated by Solid Works. Model files from other CAD systems are easily imported using the IGES format. At Quality Plastics we create tooling and parts directly from customer solid model files. If you do not have a CAD model of your part, our engineering staff can help.
Quality Plastics offers a variety of "soft tooling" techniques to generate prototype parts at lower cost with quick turn-around. Our prototype team is ready to work with you to evaluate your needs and commit to a planned delivery date.
At Quality Plastics we take pride in On-Time delivery with Quality that is built in rather than inspected out. Whether your needs are for small batch quantities or continuous production supply with "Kanban," we will develop a scheduling plan to meet your needs.
Using our CNC machining centers, lathe, and Lasers, Quality Plastics machined plastics portfolio ranges from medical testing equipment to gaming components and many others in between.
Quality Plastics can form sheets as large as 4 ft. by 8 ft width, with an emphasis on heavy guage forming (>.03"). Our forming techniques include: Drape Forming, Plug Assist, Snap-Back, Billow, Super Forming, Vacuum and Pressure Forming. Trimming operations consist of 5-Axis CNC, Laser and hand guided router fixtures.
Quality Plastics can create items with high aesthetic value from acrylic sheet rod or tube as well as many other plastics. The part pictured above is not just a thermoformed ABS part, it is three thermoformed ABS parts bonded and assembledtogether in our fabrication department.
